1. Competition Overview
NailedIt2 is a private fantasy rugby league played among eight participants. Each participant competes using the same fantasy platform and its standard rules and scoring.
2. Entry Fee
Each participant pays an entry fee of NZD $100. The full entry fee must be paid before the Super Rugby Pacific begins. Once the draft starts, the prize pool is locked.
3. Prize Pool and Distribution
Firstly, $20 is removed to pay for League Pro Subscription.
The total remaining prize pool is NZD $780. Prizes are distributed as close as possible to the following percentages, 55%, 30%, 7.5%, 7.5%. With rounding this works out as follows:
1st place: NZD $430
2nd place: NZD $230
3rd place: NZD $60
4th place: NZD $60
4. Season Structure
The competition runs for the Super Rugby Pacific season. The fantasy finals are played using the final three rounds of the Super Rugby Pacific playoffs. Semi-finals are played over two weeks, and the final is played over one week.
5. Determining Final Placings
First and second place are determined by the final fantasy match in the last round of the Super Rugby Pacific playoffs. Third and fourth place are awarded automatically based on final standings, with no playoff required.
6. Commissioner
The competition is administered by the commish. The commish is also a participant in the league. All decisions made by the commish regarding disputes, interpretation of rules, or situations not explicitly covered in these terms are final.
7. Funds Handling
The commish holds the full prize pool and distributes winnings at the end of the season.
8. Participation and Inactivity
If a participant withdraws, becomes inactive, or stops setting their team during the season, their entry fee remains in the prize pool and is not refunded.
9. Platform Rules and Issues
The league operates entirely under the rules, scoring, and mechanics of the chosen fantasy platform. Platform outages, scoring errors, or data issues are outside the commish’s control and will be resolved using the platform’s official results.
10. Cancellation or Interruption
If the Super Rugby Pacific season is cancelled or materially shortened due to unforeseen circumstances, the competition will be void and all entry fees will be refunded.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By participating in the league, each participant agrees to these terms and conditions as set at the start of the season.
12. Independence
This competition is private, non-commercial, and run among friends. It is not affiliated with Super Rugby Pacific, the fantasy platform, or any other organisation. It is completely independent of the Ranfurly Shield side competition.
13. Taxes and Legal Matters
Entry fees and winnings are handled privately between participants. No tax, gambling, or legal obligations are implied or managed by the commish.
14. Final Authority
Any situation not explicitly covered by these terms will be decided by the commish.
These terms are locked once the draft begins and cannot be changed during the season.
