1. Purpose
These Rules and Conditions govern the conduct of the live fantasy draft for this season only. They apply solely to the draft process and do not replace or modify standard league rules that apply after the draft is completed.
2. Draft Format
2.1 The draft will be conducted as a snake draft.
2.2 Draft order will run 1–8 in Round 1, 8–1 in Round 2, and continue alternating in this manner for all rounds.
2.3 The draft will consist of 8 managers and 14 rounds.
2.4 Once 14 rounds are completed, the draft ends immediately.
3. Draft Order Lock
3.1 Draft order is locked once determined and remains fixed until results are uploaded.
3.2 No redraws, swaps, or trades of draft positions are permitted during the draft.
3.3 After results are uploaded to the player hub, managers may trade, drop, or replace players in accordance with league rules.
4. Draft Timing
4.1 Each manager has a 2-minute soft limit per pick.
4.2 Managers exceeding this limit may be compelled to auto-pick at the commissioner’s discretion.
4.3 The commissioner is the sole authority on when a pick timer starts, pauses, resumes, or expires.
4.4 Managers are expected to be ready before the timer begins; the timer will start only when the manager is present and prepared.
5. Pick Validity
5.1 A pick is considered official only once it is correctly entered on the official draft sheet (or written on paper if required).
5.2 Until a pick is officially recorded, managers may change their selection provided the clock has not expired.
5.3 If a manager names an already-drafted or ineligible player, they must immediately re-pick using their remaining time. No extra time will be granted.
6. Player Eligibility
6.1 Only players appearing on the official rankings list used on draft night are eligible to be drafted.
6.2 Managers may draft any eligible player at any time, regardless of positional balance.
6.3 Any eligibility issues discovered later will be handled by the commissioner.
7. Draft Conduct
7.1 The draft is intended to be casual, social, and welcoming, particularly for newcomers.
7.2 Banter, discussion, and assistance from other managers are permitted and encouraged.
7.3 No trading, side deals, or other draft-related “nonsense” is permitted during the live draft.
8. Interruptions and Delays
8.1 If the draft is interrupted or paused, all completed picks stand.
8.2 The draft will resume at a later time as if the interruption had not occurred.
8.3 If technology fails, the draft will continue using pen and paper until completion.
9. Draft Visibility
9.1 The draft sheet will be visible to all managers during the draft to ensure transparency.
9.2 Picks will be announced as they are entered.
10. Completion and Finality
10.1 The draft may only be paused and resumed under exceptional circumstances.
10.2 Once draft results are uploaded to the system, they are final and binding, with no correction window.
10.3 Undrafted players will remain unavailable until results are uploaded, after which normal add/drop rules apply.
11. Commissioner Authority
11.1 The commissioner’s decision is final and not subject to appeal during the draft.
11.2 The commissioner will endeavour to make all decisions in the best interest of the game.
11.3 The commissioner may adjust draft flow or timing on the night to keep proceedings running smoothly.
11.4 The commissioner may issue minor clarifications or interpretations of these rules during the draft, effective immediately.
12. Acceptance of Rules
12.1 Participation in the draft constitutes full acceptance of these Rules and Conditions and the commissioner’s authority.
13. Rule Priority
13.1 These Rules and Conditions override any informal expectations or prior-season draft practices for this draft only.
