Terms and Conditions
Purpose
The Nailfurly Shield is a side bet trophy contested alongside the main fantasy rugby competition. It operates independently of league standings and provides an additional competitive element throughout the season.
Shield Matches
Whoever hold's the shield, must put it up for grabs each week.
Winning the Shield
If the Challenger wins a Shield Match, the Shield transfers to the Challenger.
Ongoing Ownership
The Shield can be defended and lost multiple times during the season and remains in circulation until the season concludes.
Carryover Between Seasons
The Nailfurly Shield carries over from season to season. The holder at the end of a season begins the following season as the defending Shield holder.
Inaugural Holder
The inaugural recipient of the Nailfurly Shield is Zek, as the previous season’s champion.
Disputes
Any disputes regarding Shield matches or forfeits will be resolved by league consensus or the commissioner if required.
